Shipping & Returns

Scott James Jewelry is a family run business. Every item we ship has passed through our hands several times to ensure it is exactly as it should be. Most items are cast in our cabin/studio and are truly hand crafted. Many of our items are built after you place your order.  This allows us to build each product as the customer requests.  Please feel free to reach out about specific sizing or questions about stones and material used.  We want this to be a piece of art that fits and bring you joy.  Please allow a little extra time for your handcrafted item to be prepared and shipped to you.

 

Shipping

We do not ship everyday so please give us 1-4 days to ship your items. We will do our best to ship your item as soon as possible. If you need an item before a certain date, please send us an email.  We will do our best to accommodate your requests. Please be aware that many of our items are built to order.  Items that need extra time will be stated in the product descriptions. You will receive an email once your package ships. If you are having issues with a package please check with your local post office before contacting us. They typically have more information than we do.

International Shipping

Please note that currently international orders are being delayed due to the ongoing pandemic.  Some areas have stopped guaranteeing delivery all together.   We do not offer any additional insurance for international orders. I would check with your local post to be aware of your current situation.  Customers are responsible for international duties, taxes and refused shipping charges. Once an item is shipped we cannot be held responsible for lost international packages.

 

Returns and Exchanges

If your item is a part of a collection that is made to order (meaning the stone or materials used were chosen by you), the item was made to a size we do not offer, or the item was changed in anyway at your request, we will refund the item minus all shipping fees as well as a 25% restocking fee.

Some items are considered custom made and cannot be returned/refunded. Please feel free to reach out prior to purchasing if you are concerned this may include an item you would like to purchase. 

All other items that are not made to order can be refunded. Please note that you must reach out to us within a week of receiving your item, and the item itself must be returned to us within 30 days of purchase. All items must be unworn and in good condition. We do not offer return shipping costs unless there was a mistake on our part.
